Coach Giovanni Solinas has made some changes to the starting XI compared to Tuesday’s 3-1 loss to Bidvest Wits. Kaizer Chiefs face Free State Stars in an MTN8 quarter-final fixture tonight.

However, not all of them were the coach’s decision. Itumeleng Khune, for example, requested leave to attend to a personal matter.

Willard Katsande will wear the captaincy in the goalkeeper’s absence.

Khune’s replacement between the posts is Virgil Vries, who will make his official Kaizer Chiefs debut.

Otherwise, Siyabonga Ngezana has come in for Erick Mathoho, Joseph Molangoane for Siphiwe Tshabalala and Dumsani Zuma for Bernard Parker.
