Senior Team
Kaizer Chiefs’ Senior Team competes in the DStv Premiership. Over several successful decades, the team has earned the nicknames Amakhosi (a Nguni translation for Chiefs) and the “Phefeni Glamour Boys”. Our Senior Team currently plays most of their home matches at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec Soweto, the iconic “calabash” best known for hosting the opening and closing matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. From the team’s founding in 1970, Kaizer Chiefs has grown into the most successful football club in South Africa.
