Today’s game will be Chiefs’ 20th of the season in the DStv Premiership and will be looking for a win before they enter the final stretch of the 2020/21 season.
Chiefs received two dubious red cards when Daniel Akpeyi and Samir Nurković were sent off on Saturday in the game against Wydad but fortunately the suspensions will only apply in the CAF Champions League and the players will return for today’s game.
There will be two changes this evening with Mulomowandau Mathoho replacing Yagan Sasman in defence and in midfield Willard Katsande will come in for the suspended Njabulo Blom.
The coach will keep to the a 4-5-1 formation just as the previous game.
Daniel Akpeyi returns in goal for Amakhosi.
In defence, Daniel Cardoso will be on the left, Mathoho in the middle and Siyabonga Ngezana on the right.
The coach has packed the midfield with Katsande and Bernard Parker in the middle of the park. Reeve Frosler will be on the right and Happy Mashiane on the left of Amakhosi’s midfield.
Linking up with attack will be Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Lebogang Manyama.
The two midfielders will support Samir Nurković in attack.
The referees are Michael Mosemeng. He will be assisted Thembinkosi Mangai and Athuxolo Madela. Moreri Lekwape is the fourth official.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys and Stellies will kick off at 17:00 at FNB Stadium. No spectators will be allowed in the stadium. The game will be live on SuperSport Channel 202. There will be regular updates of the match on Twitter @KaizerChiefs.
