Head coach Vladimir Vermezovic told the media after the nail biting encounter between the Soweto giants at FNB Stadium on Saturday night that they will not sit back during the second leg having scored a crucial away goal.



Isaac Chansa gave the hosts a lead in the second half but “Smilling Assassin” as Knowledge Musona scored a crucial goal that gives the Glamour Boys an advantage going to the second leg MTN8 semi final showdown to be played at FNB in two weeks time.



“It will be a different ball game and we will continue to attack Pirates like we did at this game. We will not sit back at all,” warned Vermezovic.



The Serbian added that he was satisfied with the overall performance of the team. “It was a good game and I am sure the supporters really enjoyed it. We again created lots of opportunities. I think that we did well today but there is room for improvement going to the next game against Celtic this coming weekend,” continued VV as the coach is affectionately known in football circles,” he said.



He added that the league remains the priority for the team. “The league is still our priority although we want to do well in all competitions. Preparations for Bloemfontein Celtic will start on Monday,” he concluded.
