At the final press conference held at the Elangeni Hotel in Durban, just about 24 hours before the mouth-watering MTN 8 Wafa! Wafa! winner takes all final, the Amakhosi’s Assistant Coach, Fani Madida vowed 150% performance during the much anticipated match, an armoury to see the Glamour Boys lifting the inaugural MTN 8 trophy on Saturday night, to the Kaizer Chiefs supporters and fans whose loyalty to the game takes the last cent from their pockets only to soldier behind their heroic superstars.

“We have done it before, and this one is no exception. Sundowns will need to prove one or two things to prevent us from taking the silverware Cup to Naturena,” says the positive Madida.

His counterpart from Sundowns, Sipho Ngomane reminded the media crowd that ‘As defending champions, we have set ourselves the highest standards, the calibre of players we signed-up, the kind of football we have played, gives us all the reasons to finish off what we have started,” he says.

Dudley Zikhali, Sponsorship Manager of the MTN Group confirmed to kaizerchiefs.com that “the last man standing will walk away with a lucrative R8 million, the silverware cup and white-gold rings - while the runners-up will have to settle for silver medals."
