Following a 1-0 impetus victory over Mamelodi Sundowns at the Durban’s ABSA Stadium on Thursday night 23rd April 2009, the Amakhosi faithful scored double in Durban, thanks to Amakhosi Supporters Club’s outreach recruitment programme held at Pantsula Bites, Megacity Mall of Umlazi on Thursday and Friday last week.



Through this programme, supporters won lucrative Kaizer Chiefs/Vodacom with each comprising of a cell-phone hamper worth R2000.00, Free R900 airtime, Free Yebo Millionares, Starter Pack and Kaizer Chiefs’ exclusive promotional items. Amakhosi’s generous mood was certainly a cherry on top of Chiefs vital win over Sundowns, which made it four in a row this season.

The Amakhosi Supporters Club were hard at work to ensure that supporters were served with atypical moment that saw their membership cards processed instantly while the Public Relations department indulged on an exciting interactive platform sharing the breaking news at Naturena.



“This outreach recruitment drive assists us not only in terms of building capacity on branch recruitment but opens us up to our number one stakeholder for us to harness the value adding relationship and support the Club

continues to enjoy from our supporters” said Kaizer Chiefs Public Relations Manager, Siyabulela “24/7” Makunga.



The recruitment team captained by the Club’s Retail Manager, Emmanuel Khumalo alongside Supporters Relations Manager, Cecil Motaung, was firm to stretch themselves out to ensure accessibility of supporter related services.

The next stop of the outreach recruitment drive will be hit the streets of Honeydew and Bekkersdaal branches on the 23rd and 30th of May respectively.
