The Premier Soccer League has adjudged Glody Lilepo’s mindblowing winner against Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein in January as their Goal-of-the Month for February.

The popular Congolese forward hit a wickedly swerving 66^th minute strike from close to the right touchline, level with the Gallants penalty area, that sailed past helpless goalkeeper, Washington Arubi and nestled in the top corner of his net.

It was a truly astonishing feat of skill that will surely be in contention for Goal-of-the-Season at the conclusion of the campaign.

Reflecting on the goal that deservedly won him the award, Lilepo tells www.kaizerchiefs.com, “The ball came off my foot perfectly and the next thing it was in the net. I am very happy to win this award on behalf of Kaizer Chiefs and my teammates because goals aren’t scored individually; they always come from team play. More important than anything personal is that it turned out to be the only goal of the game, and it won us three points.”
