Kaizer Chiefs premises in the south of Johannesburg, Naturena was graced on Wednesday by a visit from Siphoso High School pupils from Eshowe, in KwaZulu-Natal. The school is currently in Johannesburg for a tour and had written a letter to the Club asking to meet and greet their superstars.

The elated learners got to watch their heroes being taken through their paces by Coach, Muhsin Ertugral and his technical team.

Public Relations Manager, Siyabulela “24/7” Makunga was at hand to welcome the school led by their principal, Mr. Dlamuka. Mr. Dlamuka who is an ardent Kaizer Chiefs supporter thanked the Kaizer Chiefs Management for allowing the learners to grace the Village.

“Thank you very much to the Management of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club. This visit will motivate our learners most of whom play sport, soccer in particular. The learners as you saw were very happy to meet and greet their heroes with some even taking photos” he said with a smile.

Makunga said it was of importance that Kaizer Chiefs opens up to learners through Corporate Social Investment and Public Relations initiatives.

“As an institution we pride ourselves of the role we are playing in the society. Education is key to the success of our country and our football fraternity alike. We are immensely proud to welcome to Kaizer Chiefs village Siphoso High School.

One of the learners here might serve in the Club’s administration or any other club in the near future. Through our youth card we also hope to ensure that we turn these young fanatics into proud Kaizer Chiefs supporters or at least equip them with relevant information on how and where to sign up for Supporters Club membership” he said.
