The Amakhosi’s transfer-listed 27-year-old midfielder Emmanuel Ngobese commonly known as ‘Scara’ on Monday opted to take up an offer from Durban based Premier Soccer League team Thanda Royal Zulu. This after an offer was made by the Kwa-Zulu Natal club for him.

On the 24th December last year an offer was tabled for Scara by another PSL team Black Leopards, that deal was subject to the player agreeing on personal terms with the Thoyandou based outfit. In the interim Thanda Royal Zulu also made enquiries about the services of Ngobese and the player preferred a move to Kwa- Zulu Natal and with his representative began negotiations with the team owned by a Swedish consortium.

Kaizer Chiefs team manager Bobby Motaung, who had conducted negotiations for The Amakhosi in the deal which sees Ngobese, who joined Chiefs at the start of the 2004-2005 season sold outright to Thanda Royal, gave details of the sale which took place on Monday afternoon to kaizerchiefs.com and said. "There was an offer for Scara from Black Leopards the player obviously preferred another one that came for him from Thanda Royal and has opted to further pursue the offer being tabled by them. It is now up to him and his representatives to conclude the deal and we are hopeful that it will be wrapped up within a day or so."
