Santana visit to Chiefs Village

Kaizer Chiefs Village was on Tuesday morning graced by a visit of Bafana Bafana Technical Team led by Team Manager, Sipho Nkumane. Accompanying Bafana Bafana Team Manager was Head Coach, Joel Natalino Santana, assistant coach Leal, Pitso “Jingles” Mosimane and Physical Trainer, Gonzalez.



The first stop for the Bafana Bafana Technical team was at the training grounds where the team was hard at training under the watchful eye of Muhsin Ertugral.



Football Manager, Bobby Motaung who was attending a Management Meeting took some time to greet the Bafana Bafana Technical Team and showed them around the Village, from the Football Management office, Marketing offices, Supporters Relations and to the Kaizer Chiefs boardroom where the Management meeting was on.



Kaizer Chiefs Chairman, Mr. Kaizer Motaung welcomed the Bafana Bafana Technical Team, “We are honoured by your visit to our premises. You are more than welcome to come here anytime. I also want to take this opportunity and wish you all the best during the upcoming tournaments. (Confederations Cup June 2009 and World Cup 2010)”.





The Chairman took some time to show the Bafana Bafana Technical Team some of the famous pictures with the likes of Pele, Bobby Moore and the living legend, Dr. Nelson Rholihlahla Mandela.



Pitso Mosimane who was looking with interest while the Chairman showed the gentleman the photos told Joel Santana how great Kaizer was during his playing days, “He was a left footer. A good player in his time,” said Jingles with a smile.



The entire Management including staff had opportunity to take pictures with the Bafana Bafana men.



Joel Santana was impressed with what he saw at the Village, “First class. The fields are top class, changing rooms, and the offices. The organization here is brilliant and Chiefs should be compared with the best in the world,” he said before joining coach Muhsin Ertugral for a meeting.
