Kaizer Chiefs has suffered a major blow ahead of the crucial encounter against Golden Arrows in Durban with the news that the duo, midfielder Tinashe Nengomasha and hard tackling Valery Nahayo will not make the trip down to Durban due to injuries they sustained during international duty.

Zimbabwean, Tinashe “The General” Nengomasha and Burundian, Valery “Peacock” Nahayo were both on duty for their respective national team against Namibia and Burkina Faso respectively.

Team physio Dave Milner confirmed the injuries to kaizerchiefs.com, “Tinashe is out with a hamstring injury but should be ready when we play our next game as it is not a serious one. Valery Nahayo has a problem on the bone under his foot.

The doctors are going to assess him to determine the seriousness of the injury”
