During the month of November 2006, one week has been earmarked as the National Awareness Diabetes week. In keeping with this theme, Diabetes S.A. are running a fundraising campaign around awareness on Diabetes to raise funds for Diabetes research in S.A.

One such organization is 5fm in conjunction with Diabetes S.A. Diabetes S.A. is a non-profit organization, funded in 1969 to support and advocate for all people with Diabetes in S.A.

Former 5fm Disc Jockey and ardent Amakhosi 4 Life, Bo Moseneke, who passed away last year due to health complications with Diabetes, is being honoured this month with the fundraising in his name: The Bo Moseneke Foundation.

Bo, was known and loved by many who knew him as a special Khosi family member, as part of the youth who follow Kaizer Chiefs, he was known as the familiar husky voice over the radio every week day morning. Bo was indeed a proud Khosi 4 Life and wore his black and gold with true Love and Peace!
