Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune sported a stylish Charcoal coloured suit as he left the Free State Stadium in Mangaung/Bloemfontein on Tuesday evening after South Africa’s third and final group game of the World Cup against France.

Kaizerchiefs.com were interested in getting to the bottom of Khune’s recent change in on field fashion instead, recently he has begun wearing shorts instead of long pants which Chiefs fans have become accustomed to see him playing in from his days as a junior with the club.

Khune let us into the reasoning behind the change in his on field fashion saying, “I thought that I would match better if wore a red shirt, with red shorts and red socks.

There was a time when I wore a white shirt and it matched better than with the long pants”.

Good to see the Chiefs number one has a sound fashion sense in addition to his excellent goalkeeping abilities.

On another note, the Amakhosi keeper told Kaizerchiefs.com that he is going to take a few days off and will get some much needed down time before he gets back to pre-season training.

“I would like to take a rest now, I have not really thought where I will be going or whether I will stay at home.

I am not going to boycott the World Cup I am still going to watch it on television and I have tickets for the some matches and I am hoping to attend these”.
