Michael Nkambule has told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates are hungry for more trophies including the league title. The Daveyton born midfielder was reacting to the news that the Club has been drawn with on-form Golden Arrows in the last 16 of Telkom Knockout.

“I am happy with the draw and I am sure it is the same with my teammates. Golden Arrows are currently playing good football and their results speak for themselves. They are an entertaining side and we are looking forward to playing against them. We are hungry to win trophies and we are going all out to defend the Telkom Knockout” said the player known in football circles as Zidane.

Having joined the team in his early teens, Nkambule won his first major trophy with Chiefs last month and he has expressed his desire to win more trophies with the Club.

“I said it when I rejoined the Club last January that I am back here to win trophies. I know that there is a lot of hard work that needs to go with our desire to win trophies. We will be working even harder in the next couple of weeks to turn things around after our defeat in Rustenburg” he added.
