Condolences to the Manyathi Family

The Chairman, Mr. Motaung has sent a message of condolences to the family of Kaizer Chiefs legend, Wellington “Umuntu akalahlwa” Manyathi who lost his mother on Monday, 27 April 2009 (Freedom Day).



The former Chiefs no. 5 was on his way to Orkney in the North West together with other Chiefs legends where they were playing their counterparts, Orlando Pirates as part of the celebration for the 15 years of Freedom.



“ Once again we would like to give our heartfelt condolences to the family of Wellington who was and remains one of our sons at Kaizer Chiefs. We hope that he will, together with his family, remain strong through these trying times. Together with Kaizer Chiefs Family we mourn with them,” said Kaizer Motaung.



People who would like to pay homage are advised to go to Manyathi’s home at 1727 Phewa Street, Rockville (next to Moroka Police Station).



Funeral details will be released in due course.
