After their superlative win in the 2026 Engen Champ of Champs over the weekend, Kaizer Chiefs featured prominently at the awards ceremony following their crowning as champions.

Malibongwe Mshali was recognised as the Player-of-the-Tournament as well as the Striker-of-the-Tournament.

The Defender-of-the-Tournament went to Tashiel Rugananan, while the Midfielder-of-the-Tournament accolade was bestowed upon Lebohang Dhlamini.

Three Amakhosi players, Shaun Els, Dhamini and Mosana, shared the Top Goalscorer award, which emphasised the dominance of Kaizer Chiefs throughout the event, which they cruised through undefeated, winning five of their six matches and drawing just one, a group stage match against the team they overwhelmed 3-0 when they met again in the final.

Congratulations to the coaching staff and our young stars of the future. You have brought glory to the Club and set a standard that opponents will find very difficult to reach. May you continue your development path toward reproducing such success at the senior level one day.
