Chiefs make three line up against Magesi

Just like last weekend, it’s another rainy day in Durban on this Human Rights Day, as Kaizer Chiefs host Magesi FC at Moses Mabhida stadium in their 20th fixture of the Betway Premiership 2025/26 season.

The clash, which is the last one before the final FIFA International break of the season, comes on the back of Amakhosi’s victory over Durban City on Sunday, which lifted their points tally to 33 and moved them up to fifth position on the log. Magesi, on the other hand, remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just 14 points from 20 games.

Chiefs are boosted by the return of Aden McCarthy, who missed Durban City match due to suspension, as well as Given Msimango, who was out injured for the last few matches and will start will be on the bench.

There are three changes to the starting line-up from the previous match, with McCarthy coming in the injured Zitha Kwinika at the back, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo replacing Siphesihle Ndlovu in midfield, and winger Pule Mmodi preferred to Ashley Du Preez.

It is once again a 4-3-3 formation for Amakhosi.

Bruce Bvuma is the goalkeeper.

In defence, Chiefs have Bradley Cross at left-back, McCarthy and Inacio Miguel combine at centre-back, and Dillan Solomons is on the right.

Lebohang Maboe holds in midfield, with. Ngcobo joining Mduduzi Tshabalala in the attacking midfield roles.

Mmodi will occupy the left flank and last weekend’s goalscorer Glody Lilepo will play on the right.

Leading the attack is Wandile Duba.

Miguel will captain the team.

Cedric Muvhali is responsible for blowing the whistle. He is assisted by Khamusi Razwimisani and Elphas Sitole. The fourth official is Eugene Mdluli.

The Betway Premiership match between the Glamour Boys and Dikwena tša Meetse starts at 18:00 at Durban’s Moses Mabhida stadium.

The match is live on SuperSport’s PSL channel 202 on DStv and various SABC radio stations. There will be regular updates on the Club’s X (formerly known as Twitter) account, @kaizerchiefs.
