Resting aide

Chiefs physiotherapist David Milner said to kaizerchiefs.com that Shaun has been instructed to rest for the next seven to ten days, and will visit a specialist in Johannesburg on Monday to once again assess his progress. Milner explained “the specialist in Cape Town did say that he needs to rest and do no strenuous activities for the next week, we will send him to a doctor in Johannesburg on Monday just to gauge the process he is making. We are hopeful that him returning home will be good for him and that by late next week he can start doing some physical exercises again”.

Back home

Kaizerchiefs.com caught up with Shaun at home in Johannesburg on Tuesday. He spoke about his disappointment of having not been able to actively participate in The Amakhosi’s camp currently on the go in the Western Cape.

Bartlett added “I have been suffering with this infection for more than a week now and it has been frustrating having to sit out these training sessions, obviously I would have loved to be actively involved in the camp. The instruction is for me to relax and get my energy back and I am hoping to be up and running soon”.
