Kaizer Chiefs’ reserve team kept up their 100 percent record in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) this season with a 1-0 win over Richards Bay at Princess Magogo stadium in KwaMashu on Saturday.

A late Keitumetse Lesia winner ensured Amakhosi registered their third consecutive victory, taking them to nine points from nine and a two-point lead at the top of the standings.

Fresh from scooping the Defender-of-the-Tournament at last weekend’s Engen Champ of Champs, which Chiefs U-18s won in style, Tashiel Rugunanan made a solid DDC debut and contributed to Amakhosi keeping a clean sheet.

Next Saturday, 17 October, Amakhosi host Marumo Gallants in Round 4, where they will go in with confidence and determination to sustain their winning run and their lead at the top of the league table.
