Assistant Coach, Donald “Ace” Khuse has applauded the first team players for the attitude they have shown at training in the past couple of weeks.

The Glamour Boys played their last competitive game of the season on Sunday, 25 April 2010 but have been training ever since under the watchful eye of the Technical Staff.

“The reason we decided with training is that we were reluctant to give the players a long lay off before the start of next season as that might have affected their fitness level. We know that psychologically it is difficult for them but we are pleased with the way they have responded to the training sessions,” said the player who was also known as “Didi” during his playing days.

Ace Khuse who himself was respected by his teammates and his opponents alike for his level of fitness told kaizerchiefs.com that the team will continue to train for a few more days before taking a break.

“We are still going to continue with the programme for few more days. The sessions for us as the Technical Tam form a very important part as we prepare for upcoming 2010/2011 season,” added Ace.
