Tonight, Kaizer Chiefs will welcome TS Galaxy to the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in a high-stakes Betway Premiership encounter, marking the final home league match for the club in Polokwane this season. Amakhosi are determined to break their two-match losing streak and return to winning ways.
Coach Nasreddine Nabi has made three changes to the starting lineup, with Bradley Cross replacing Edmilson Dove at left back. Pule Mmodi and Wandile Duba also start, with the latter replacing Ashley du Preez. Notably, Thabo Cele will miss the match after he picked up a knock in the previous game against Golden Arrows.
Amakhosi will apply a 1-4-4-2 formation.
This home encounter is crucial for Chiefs, who have failed to register a win in their last three matches. A victory would see them bounce back and boost their chances of a Top 8 finish in the league. The Rockets also come into this encounter off a defeat.
Amakhosi head into this encounter on 29 points from 23 matches while Galaxy have recorded 35 points in 24 outings. The two teams have a closely contested history, with their last meeting ending in a 1-1 draw in Mbombela earlier this season. It will be a 10th meeting in a league battle between the two sides.
