Kaizer Chiefs Reserves will on Sunday, 18 August host Highlands Park Reserves in their second MDC match of the season. Chiefs walloped Arrows 4-1 in their first match.
“Performance is key to future results,” said Zwane. “We teach the boys to be happy upon introspection and also when they get feedback of a good performance.”
“At the Development level it is all about repetition,” said Zwane. “We have few boys coming from the junior teams, for example Tshepo Myeni and Khumbulani Ncube from U19. So far they are settling in very well in the Reserve Team.”
The match is taking place at Dobsonville Stadium, in Soweto.
“It is for the newly promoted players to adapt because we endeavor to keep the formation consistent from our U13,” said Zwane. “We are still at the early stages after one game. We are not checking much of what the opponents are doing. We focus on our strengths going into every game.”
It will be difficult for Highlands Park to contain us, “We use three formations in one game,” said Zwane, “we are unpredictable. We focus on our strengths and that’s what we will do throughout this season,”
Kick-off is 12:00 and entrance if FREE. No live broadcasting is scheduled for this fixture.
