Kaizer Chiefs U-13s
After a commendable performance last weekend at the Lucky Star Cup in Cape Town, where they reached the last eight before bowing out on penalties to Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates, the Chiefs U-13s are back in league action as they face second on the log SuperSport United. The Chiefs U-13s currently in sixth place on the standings, have played three games less than SuperSport United and victory can help propel them up the table. They did lose their last league outing against Panorama but were convincing winners in their two previous games - recording a 5-1 win over Kathorus Hyper Academy and prior to that, a 2-0 win over Elspark United Academy.
Kaizer Chiefs U-15s
The Chiefs U-15s have put together a good run of results recently which has seen them win three of their last four league games. They won their last league outing 1-0 away from home against Panorama on the 28th September and will be targeting a second successive win. Just one point separates fifth placed Chiefs who are on 39 points from fourth placed SuperSport who currently have 40 points. A win will see Chiefs leapfrog SuperSport who have played two games more than The Amakhosi. Victory for the Chiefs U-15s could propel them up-to third place should other results go in their favour.
Kaizer Chiefs U-17s
Having won their last six games in a row, win number seven will be very much on the minds of the Chiefs U-17s as they prepare to face SuperSport United. Their last trip to the Capital City to face the University of Pretoria back on the 24th August brought a 5-4 win for the Chiefs U-17 team. They will be targeting another win in the capital which will see them keep pace with log leaders Jomo Cosmos. Presently the Chiefs U-15s are 12 points behind Cosmos on 39 points with the log leaders having amassed 51 points. Chiefs U-15s have played four games less than Cosmos and a win against SuperSport will see them keep alive their title aspirations.
Kaizer Chiefs U-19s
Currently on 37 points thirteen points behind league leaders Bidvest Wits but with four games in hand the Chiefs U-19s will be confident of closing the gap when they face SuperSport United who are currently one place and two points above them. The Chiefs U-19s have undergone a renaissance mid- season with a number of players moving up to join the reserve team, but they have performed commendably to keep pace with the front runners in their league.
