Kaizer Chiefs Reserves will take on Cape Town City Reserves in the Multichoice Diski Challenge match this weekend. The Amakhosi Reserves are looking at this home fixture to collect maximum points to stay in tune for the Top8 spot on the log.
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 23 February at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.
The past weekend saw both teams facing contrasting odds, with Amakhosi youngsters losing 2-0 to their archrivals Orlando Pirates Reserves, while The Citizens came out tops by 4-2 in their Cape Town Derby against Stellenbosch Reserves.
In the corresponding fixture between the two teams played in September 2019, Lebohang Lesako was on fire, bagging a hattrick with Keletso Sifama putting the cherry on top with the 88th strike to give Amakhosi a 4-2 victory.
After 24 matches played, City Reserves will arrive in Gauteng with 39 points in the bag and placed 6th on the log. Chiefs Reserves occupy the 10th position with 33 points after the same number of matches played.
Kick-off is at 10:00.
