Kaizer Chiefs reserve side will this weekend take a long trip down south when they visit Stellenbosch reserve side for a DStv Diski Challenge fixture set for 12:30 at Idas Valley Sports Ground in Stellenbosch.

Coach Mvela Khumalo’s side started the season well but stumbled last weekend when they went down 1-0 to Maritzburg. They will look to bounce back when they face an equally wounded Stellenbosch who lost their previous fixture against Orlando Pirates.

“We are prepared for the game and we will do our best to get the three points from the game,” says Khumalo. “We have looked at what we did not get right last weekend and we have worked on those mistakes. Playing well and winning is important for us, but we know it will not be easy. We are looking forward to a good game of football in the Western Cape.”

The game between the young Amakhosi and Stellies will be live on SuperSport Channel 202 from 12:30.
