Kaizer Chiefs have been doing great at the 2017 Engen Knockout Challenge, having reached the semi-final. The opponent in the semis will the University of Pretoria (Tuks) and the game will take place on Sunday morning.
Amakhosi won their first match in this Under-18 tournament 1-0 thanks to beating Soweto Stars on Friday early afternoon.
This was followed by a 2-0 win over Polokwane City Rovers FC.
On Saturday morning, Chiefs’ development side drew 1-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Accordingly, the young Glamour Boys had to face Orlando Pirates later on Saturday. The quarter-final match resulted in a smashing win for Amakhosi, 4-1.
The next opponent will be Tuks. The Engen Knockout Challenge semi-final will take place on Sunday morning, 6 August, at Johannesburg’s Marks Park. Kick-off is at 10:30.
