Following their spirited showing in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they narrowly missed out on the knockout phase on goal difference after collecting 10 points in Group D, Kaizer Chiefs have returned from Egypt with renewed determination to finish as high as possible in the Betway Premiership and secure qualification for continental competition next season.

The team’s attention now turns to the visit of Stellenbosch FC to FNB stadium on Tuesday, 24 February, where three points will be the intended outcome.

The fixture comes shortly after the two sides met in the Nedbank Cup earlier this month, adding further significance to the encounter.

On the log Chiefs are in 4th place with 30 points from 15 matches played. Stellies, who also exited the Confederation Cup, lie 13th, with 15 points from 15 outings.

With both teams eager to improve their positions on the log as they kick off their second round of the season, the match promises to be a competitive contest.

Tickets for the fixture are available via the MyTicket app, as well as at Shoprite, Checkers and Usave outlets, at a price of R60.

The match also serves as a key build-up to the highly anticipated Soweto Derby, which takes place four days later, ensuring heightened excitement among supporters.

Amakhosi supporters are encouraged to get their tickets and attend in numbers as they welcome the boys back after playing matches away from the FNB stadium.

Kick-off for the mouthwatering clash between the Glamour Boys and the Winelands team is scheduled for next Tuesday at 19:30.
