Veteran winger Arthur Zwane, has paid a glowing tribute to his teammate, Tinashe Nengomasha, who has been a kingpin in the Club’s success in the past decade.

The tenacious midfielder, who joined the Glamour Boys at the end of 2001/2002 season, was instrumental as Chiefs won the league in the 2003/2004 season and was deservedly voted as the Premier Soccer League’s Player of the Year and Player’s Player at the end of the season awards.

“He wants to win all the time,” said Zwane.

“He is the kind of player you want next to you all the time -- and you can learn so much from him because he is very clear about what he wants to achieve and how he plans to do it. When you have a teammate like him, who is always working hard to take his game to another level, it inspires you and everyone else in the team to do the same. He always puts the team ahead of himself and never makes excuses,” continued Zwane.

Zwane, who has seen little action this season, believes that Tinashe can inspire the young players in the team as the Glamour Boys aim to win the league championship this season.

“We are still in the race and guys like Tinashe obviously have a role to play to inspire the younger players. He was here when we did the unthinkable back in 2004/2005 season and like we did that time, we are prepared to fight all the way,” added Zwane.
