Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager, Bobby Motaung has revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that the papers for the newly signed Nigerian striker, Ibe Zito Ogbonna have finally arrived and the player is available for selection for the game against Bidvest Wits on Saturday night.

Zito, nicknamed “Tyson” in Israel and “Horse” in Romania was unveiled to the media on Thursday last week but could not feature in the derby due to the unavailability of his international clearance from Romania.

“I am happy to tell Amakhosi faithful who have waited with bated breath for the arrival of Zito’s papers that the player is now available for selection. He has been working very hard with the rest of the team since his arrival here (Naturena). It will now depend on the Technical Team if he will be used for the game against Bidvest Wits,” said Bobby Motaung.

The finalisation of Zito’s registration is a huge boost for the Soweto giants who came off second best against rivals, Orlando Pirates last weekend. Chiefs will be hoping to turn the tables and produce the same kind of form that saw them winning three games in a row before meeting Orlando Pirates.
