Five players from the Glamour Boys have been called up for Zimbabwe for their African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Gabon/Guinea Equatorial 2012 final qualifier against Cape Verde.
The players Thomas “Rambo” Sweswe, Tinashe “General” Nengomasha, Lincoln “Harare” Zvasiya, Willard “Cheese & Onion” Katsande and Zhaimu “Jambo Jet 747” Jambo will be expected to help Zim qualify for the next finals as they have been doing quite well during the qualifiers.
Also expected to make a return to the squad is former Chiefs striker and now plying his trade in Europe Knowledge “Smiling Assassin” Musona who made his debut in the Bundesliga this past weekend.
The game is on Saturday, 8th October 2011 away in Cape Verde.
