Good news. Kaizer Chiefs U15 team under the guidance of both Terror Sephooa and Ntsie Maphike have been involved in the Nike International Knockout competition. The competition started with the Southern Gautend Regional knockouts on Monday 21st 2004.

Kaizer Chiefs played against Balfour in the earlier game and beat them 5-1. The scorers in this game were Mondli Miya ( 2), Siyanda Nkasa (1) Mthombi Maduna (1) and Samuel Lesoetsa (1)

They then played Wits on the same afternoon and beat them 4-0. The srcorers for the Wits game were Mondli Miya (1) Siyanda Nkasa (2) and Hebert Nongwanya (1).

The team moved to the Semi final which were played on Tuesday nite the 22nd at Wits Tech sports ground and played Supersport United. THe won 3-2 against Supersports with goals coming from Siyanda Nkasa (2) and Samuel Lesoetsa.

The finals were contested against Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs U15 beat them 2-1 with goals from Siyanda Nkasa (1) and Mthobisa Maduna (1). This game was played on the 23rd of March.

Kaizer Chiefs U15 are now the winners of the Safa Southern Gauteng Nike International and will be representing Safa Southern Gauteng in the Provincial competition which kicks off on Saturday 27th March at ReigerPark stadium against a team from the Vaal Triangle.

The U19 team will be playing a friendly game in Kuruman Northen Cape on Saturday against an invitational side. Over the Easter Weekend Kaizer CHiefs U17 and U19 will be competing at the AFRICA YOUTH CUP in Cape Town to celebrate 10yrs of Freedom while the U15 will be involved in the U15 Youth Challenge organised by Supersport.
