Kaizer Chiefs emerged undefeated from the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL) match-day against Sevens Academy at Woodlands International College on Saturday.

The U13 got Amakhosi off to a perfect start with a 3-1 victory, before the U15s played to a 0-0 stalemate in the second fixture of the day.

In the afternoon, the U17s beat their counterparts 2-1, and a very successful day for the Club’s junior ranks was crowned with a 4-2 triumph in an exciting finale between the U19 teams.

Next up is a visit from Rosina Sedibane for another round of GDL action on Saturday, 20 July, at the Kaizer Chiefs Village, kicking off with the U13s at 09:00, followed by the U15s at 10:30, the U17s at noon, and the U19s at 14:00 to close out the series.
