Reneilwe Letsholonyane who is currently playing his best football for Bafana Bafana just in time for the kick off of the World Cup is celebrating his birthday today (Wednesday), 09 June having born on the same date back in White City, Soweto in 1982.

Letsholonyane currently in the camp with Bafana Bafana ahead of the crucial Group A opener against Mexico spoke to kaizerchiefs.com about his birthday wish.

“My wish is to get the ‘birthday pack’ we get at Naturena every time any of the players is celebrating their birthday,” he said jokingly.

“It was on this day that I came to Naturena back in 2008 and I have enjoyed my life at Chiefs since my first day that happened to be my birthday,” recalled Yeye.

His focus though is on the game against Mexico on Friday, 11 June 2010, “It goes without saying that my birthday wish is for us to do well against a tricky side, Mexico. We have been playing well as a team and the win against Denmark last weekend further boosted our confidence,” said Yeye who won the ‘Man of the Match’ award on the day.

Kick off for Bafana Bafana vs. Mexico is at 16:00 hrs at Soccer City.
