A visibly delighted Muhsin Ertugral has told kaizerchiefs.com that the win against Arrows will go a long way in boosting the team following a heavy loss against SuperSport United.

The Glamour Boys claimed all the available points in what was a thrilling game at Chatsworth Stadium thanks to Siphiwe Tshabalala’s second half strike.

“The loss against SuperSport shook us,” revealed Ertugral.

“The team was really put into test because we needed to bounce back in a space of few days and we did. I am proud of my boys tonight,” he said.

“We were much organised at the back bar one or two saves that Itu (Itumeleng Khune) made in both halves. We created number of chances especially in the second half. This is one area that is a concern to me as we do not finish the chances that we creating in every game. This win will without a doubt lift the boys ahead of Sunday’s clash against Free State Stars.”

Chiefs are now on 37 points after 23 games and Muhsin poured water to suggestions that the league title has ‘already been decided’,

“In my opinion, there is a long way to go.”

“The league this season is unpredictable and anything can still happen. I keep on saying that the top five teams in the league stand a good chance of winning the league this season,” he said.

Chiefs will turn their attention to a cup game this weekend when the tackle in form Free State Stars at Super Stadium on Sunday.

“It will be a different ball game as cup matches are always different to league games. We will need to plan very well for this one as we playing against one of the in form teams currently in the league,” he concluded.
