We Will Really Miss Lesley
We Will Really Miss Lesley

Pirates Lovers

I'm really devastated about the unexpected passing away of Lesley. He was such a talent. Though not a Pirates supporter (but a Chiefs fan), I had an opportunity to watch him in action against Cosmos.

We will really miss his charm in the sport field. He was very collected and it appears he was as well a soft-spoken someone. The only time I saw Lesley playing an opponent roughly it's only when he may try to pull or push. I had never seen him rough-tackling or kicking his opponent. What a gentleman and a sport man!!

His talent was undoubtable. He was exceptionally good. We will really miss his talent.

Not only Pirates had lost, the Nation and the whole world had suffered a loss. As I am writing this, I am in tears.

I hope his family will with time learn to deal with the situation. My condolence go to his family, Pirates and his girlfriend "fiancee". May they accept what have happened.

Rest in Peace Lesley. You will always be remembered.

Regards.

A South African Hero is missing!

I am a Kaizer Chiefs fan but I would like to pass my sincere condolences to the Manyathela Family, all Orlando Pirates' Fans and to South Africans.

"We have lost a Hero"

It was extremely shocking to hear that our Hero, Lesley Phuthi Manyathela, has been lost. He has been lost in a time where South Africa needs him the most. We were hoping that he will fill Masinga's place in the National Team. He was young and talented. But... the Hero, is nowhere now!

I would like to say, "Only God knows." To his mom and family, I say "Pray to God and He will help and give you the strength."

Lala Ngoxolo Lesley "Slow Poison" Manyathela. We will miss you.
