Defender, Keegan Ritchie has warned that the team will bounce back even stronger after the break when they welcome Santos at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, 19 November 2011.

The Glamour Boys have an extended break after following an early knockout in the Telkom Knockout and the Fifa week. The last game was on the 1st November against Maritzburg United in Port Elizabeth.

“We would have preferred to play week in week out as players so we can build up the momentum.

“The break though gives us as a team time to improve some of the area. The Technical Team has identified for us to full fill our objectives.

“It is our objective that by the time we go to the Christmas break that we back where we were back in August – no 1 in the log. This means starting from the game against Santos we need to collect maximum points.

“Santos is never an easy side to play with as they play lot of long balls. We will however focus on our preparations and when we meet we will be ready for them,” added Ritchie.

Kaizer Chiefs is currently lying on second position in the Absa Premiership log with 20 points and four points adrift from current leaders SuperSport United.
