We remain focused – Tshabalala

Siphiwe Tshabalala has told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates remain focused to the cause ahead of the crucial fixture against rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns next week.

Sundowns who were sent packing by Thanda Royal Zulu on Wednesday go to Durban next week ‘wounded’ and they will want to avenge the three defeats they suffered in the hands of Glamour Boys this season.

Chiefs beat Sundowns in the Telkom Charity Cup, the lucrative MTN 8 Final and early this year in the league.

“We remain focused on winning,” said Tshabalala showing supreme confidence.

“It is very important that we continue winning our games for us to finish in a respectable position in the league. Sundowns have not beaten us this season and we need to keep that record intact,” said “Shabba” who won the Man of the Match award last week when Chiefs beat Bay United away.

“Every player looks forward playing against Mamelodi Sundowns as they are one of the best teams around. We are not reading anything from the loss they suffered against Thanda on Wednesday. I am hoping that we will have most of our guys currently carrying injuries ready by Thursday, 23 April 2009,” he added.

Kick off for the game is 19h30 at Absa Stadium. Tickets are already on sale at Shoprite/Checkers and Computicket countrywide.
