George Lebese has said that following a win against AmaZulu in Durban, the team is ready to register their first win at the majestic Orlando Stadium this coming Saturday.

The Glamour Boys host Maritzburg United this weekend Saturday, 12 September 2009 in an Absa Premiership encounter. Kick off is at 15h00.

Chiefs who confirmed Orlando Stadium as their new home at the beginning of the season have struggled win games at the stadium suffering two draws and the disappointing loss in the hands of Bidvest Wits University.

“Not winning games at Orlando Stadium has been a disappointment especially for the fans. We are hoping to turn things around this coming Saturday. The win against AmaZulu was a real boost to us and we are looking forward to the game on Saturday,” said the confident looking Lebese speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Monday morning.

“Finidi” as he is affectionately known to kaizerchiefs.com showed glimpses of his best during the preseason but is yet to make an appearance in official games this season.

“I am working hard at training and patiently waiting for my chance. When that happens, I will grab it with both hands,” he said.

The Mamelodi born player also expressed his disappointment for missing out a chance to play in the U-20 World Cup to be held in Egypt later this month.

“I am very disappointed that I missed out an opportunity to compete in the World Cup. I believe though everything happens for a reason…I am going to continue working hard here at Chiefs. The focus now is to make it to the U-23 squad and hopefully Bafana Bafana later but it all starts here at training,” added Lebese.

Tickets sales have already open and fans can buy them from Computiticket and Shoprite outlets countrywide.
