"I'm worried that we are not translating superiority into goals," coach Stuart Baxter laments after Kaizer Chiefs suffered their second loss of the season against Maritzburg United.

"We played well during the first twenty minutes," adds Baxter. "But we failed to score. And then, after they netted, we had to go for broke. We changed a few things around to try and go for the equaliser."

Amakhosi played the game without left-back Tsepo Masilela. Baxter comments: "We missed Tsepo in terms of his experience. However, I think Siboniso Gaxa did well on the left side."

"We had a period in the second half where we were flat and we conceded a poor goal," concludes Baxter.

Chiefs will now change focus temporarily to their CAF Champions League match against Raja Casablanca on Saturday. The match will be played at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium (kick-off is at 19:00).

Tickets are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers for R50.
