Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral believes that if it was not once again, missing of chances, his charges would have come back with positive result in Rustenburg. The newly crowned MTN 8 champions suffered their third league defeat of the season in the hands of Soweto rivals, Moroka Swallows.

“We missed five clear chances and the reality is that we made things difficult for ourselves” said the visibly disappointed Ertugral.

“I had said it during the week that Swallows are one of the best sides in the league and I want to give credit to them for the way they played. The two goals they scored were as the result of errors from our defence. We did come out strongly during the second stanza but could not score” he said.

Meanwhile, Muhsin Ertugral defended goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune on the second goal. Khune could not hold on to Cecil Oerson’s free kick allowing Phumelele Bhengu to pounce on the rebound.

“We have somebody behind the wall, and that player should be behind the wall to pick up those loose balls and that did not happen. It is easier again pointing fingers to a goalkeeper; I do think, once again, our downfall was not taking our chances” added the coach.

The Glamour Boys next Absa Premiership fixture is away to Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday the 29 October 2008.
