We have to keep on fighting – Ertugral

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral was understandably disappointed with the outcome of the Chiefs vs. Free State game on Saturday afternoon in Rustenburg. The Turk has told kaizerchiefs.com that, “the fight has to go on”.

The Glamour Boys started the game nine points behind SuperSport United who are currently on top of the table. Amakhosi had to win the game against Stars to keep their chances alive in the Absa Premiership.

“It is going to be very tough with five games to go, we just have to keep going,” said Muhsin Ertugral after the game.

“This was a must win game for us and the guys came in here aware of that. We did not create enough chances to win the game. This has been our story for most part of the season…lack of aggressiveness.”

Chiefs went to Rustenburg with a depleted squad that saw Tinashe Nengomasha, Siphiwe Tshabalala, and Jose Torrealba who scored two goals in his last two games, all missing the game.

“We missed them but I am not making any excuses. There are five games to go and we will keep on going. If we don’t catch SuperSport then we should qualify to play in Africa next season.

We are back at work on Monday to prepare for another tough game against Bay United away,” he added.

Chiefs are now on 41 points after 25 games while leaders SuperSport have played the same number of games and are on 45 points.
