We have to bounce back against Santos - Nahayo

Kaizer Chiefs will aim to bounce back the best possible way when they welcome Santos at Loftus on Wednesday. Kick-off for the game is at 19h30.

Burundian-born defender Valery Nahayo told kaizerchiefs.com that the "Champions League Dream" is not dead and buried following a defeat at the hands of Orlando Pirates on Saturday. Chiefs are currently on 47 points second placed Orlando Pirates on 51 points.

"Orlando Pirates have a tough game coming up against Ajax Cape Town who also want to finish in the highest possible position in the league table," he said.

"Having said that, I do not think we should look at what Pirates will be doing…we need to go all out and win our remaining games. The second spot is still possible, as we have set our sights to play in Africa next season. We did not do ourselves a favour by losing against Orlando Pirates but these things happen in football," said Nahayo.

"The sooner we recover the better. Santos beat us when we traveled to Cape Town in December. They are coming to our turf now so we have to be at our best. They have not been playing well lately which can work on our advantage," he added.
