Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic refused to get carried away following a 2-0 win against Golden Arrows on Saturday insisting that 2010/2011 Absa Premiership season is going to be even tougher than the last season. Amakhosi got off to a flying start, they were looking for sending Golden Arrows back to Durban with a 2-0 drubbing thanks to goals from unlikely source Valery Nahayo and Siphiwe “Ntho tse Monate” Tshabalala.

“It was as good win for us but we know that this is only a start. This season should be even more difficult than last season,” said the former Serbian international speaking to the media after the game.

“There is still a chance that the teams that did not start well might finish strongly as it happened last season. It was a good win for us and I am satisfied with the way the players carried out instructions to the field,” he said.

“Once again we started well but we had to make changes in the second half introducing a second striker. We wanted to pressurize them from the back and this worked wonders for us. There is not much time to rest and we will have to return back to training on Monday in preparations for the tough away fixture against Maritzburg United in Durban,” concluded VV.
