Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic has warned his players against complacency ahead of the crucial Last 16 fixture against FC Cape Town in Botshabelo, just outside Bloemfontein on Sunday, 25 April 2010.

Kick off for the game is at 15h00.

“I am not happy with the way some of the players have been training this week. My job is to make sure that everyone realises how important this game is for us. We want to win this cup but the first step is to beat FC Cape Town,” revealed Vermezovic.

“The preparations for this game have been very difficult for us because we cannot get footage for FC Cape Town. The only thing we have is highlights package from their last game,”

“It is very important that we go with an attitude to win the game. It is very important that we try and score early to unsettle them because at times if you do not score early you helping their confidence,” continued Vermezovic addressing the media during the Nedbank Media Open Day held at Kaizer Chiefs HQ in Naturena, South of Johannesburg.

The Serbian further revealed that he might make three changes to the team that played against SuperSport United, “I will not reveal on which areas but we will make changes,” he said with a smile.

Knowledge Musona has been ruled out of the game due to suspension, “Knowledge started the season on the bench and there is no reason on why we cannot play now without him on Sunday. Kaizer Chiefs is not one man team, we are ready for Sunday,” added Vermezovic.
