Vladimir Vermezovic believes his charges have a chance of bouncing back on Sunday in the second leg semi final against Ajax Cape Town following a 1-0 defeat in the hands of SuperSport United on Tuesday night.

The Glamour Boys once again created most chances but could not find the back of the net.

“We have had to do without the services of Nkosinathi Nhleko and Jose Torrealba for the past two games that are both injured and this has left us thin upfront,” he said addressing the media after the game.

“In the second half of the game we showed that we can play and to me it is a good sign. We know that we can bounce back from the slump and start showing the same form we showed during preseason.

We are back at training tomorrow in preparation for the second half of that game and this one is now water under the bridge.”

Meanwhile, the Serbian mentor has once again defended striker Kaizer Motaung Jr who has come under fire from unruly Club supporters.

“It is very difficult for K (Kaizer Motaung Jr.) at the moment, when the fans are at your back as early as second minute in a game, life can be very difficult. However we are talking to the player as his confidence is down at the moment. I can only ask our fans to be patient because it is only a matter of time before he hit the back of the net,” concluded Vermezovic.
