Two Chiefs battle for Cosafa honours

The Amakhosi’s 19-year-old goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is getting used to national team call ups after just recently returning from a two game series with the national under twenty-three team in the Ivory Coast.

Amaglug glug lost by 2-1 and 1-0 score lines. Khune has now been drafted into the national under twenty team for the up U-20 Cosafa Cup Tournament to be played in Durban from the first to the 12th December.



Joining Khune in the Amajita set up is Kaizer Chiefs under seventeen-squad member and striking sensation Sibusiso Msomi.

For Msomi this will be his first experience with the national team set up as he hopes to take his prolific goal scoring form for the Chiefs U-17’s with him to Amajita.

Both players will meet up with the rest of the team at the Milpark Holiday Inn in Johannesburg on the 27th November before beginning their pre tournament preparations in Durban.
