Siphiwe Tshabalala has said that his teammates will put the disappointment of drawing with Santos in the league opener behind them, when they meet Ajax Cape Town this coming weekend in the semi final of MTN8 ‘Wafa Wafa’ in Cape Town.

The game is to be played at Newlands Stadium on the 15th August and will kick off at 20h15hrs while Ajax Cape Town will come to Orlando Stadium for the second leg on Sunday 23rd August @ 1500hrs.

“We are, of course. disappointed that we could not win against Santos on Saturday especially playing at home. The Cup game though against Ajax Cape Town will be a different ball game,” said “Shabba” who watched the game in the stands due to injury.

“We want to win each and every game and the game against Ajax gives us an opportunity to return back to our winning ways. They are a very good team and everyone saw how they played in the quarterfinals, but we are determined to defend the cup.

We are already working hard at training with the coach in ensuring that we bring smiles to the fans, especially those in Cape Town who have not seen us in action in this new season,” added Shabba who had attended the draw conducted at MTN headquarters in Johannesburg on Monday, 10 August 2009.
