Torrealba: We need to start winning games

Kaizer Chiefs striker, Jose Torrealba has called on his teammates to start focusing and listen to the technical team if they are to get back on track. The Venezuelan born striker was speaking to kaizerchiefs.com after the team was knocked out of the Telkom Knockout by Golden Arrows last Saturday.

“We need to return back to our winning way, no two ways about it”, he said.

“We need to be honest with ourselves that we have not done well in the past couple of games. We also need to start listening very carefully on what the coach is saying. His message is very clear on how he wants us to play but we have not been doing what is expected of us”, he said.

“Credit should be given to Golden Arrows who were organised on the day and they made use of the opportunities that they created. We were all very disappointed about the loss but we all know that in football you win or lose games”, said the Venezuelan.

Torrealba concluded that, “The game against Arrows is gone; we have tough games coming up. We need to improve at the back and definitely upfront. We need to start performing; it is still early in the season - people should not write us off”.
