Kaizer Chiefs welcomed the Venezuelan born striker, Jose Torrealba and evergreen defender Thabang Rooi back at training on Tuesday.

The hard working striker has been out with a back injury while Thabang Rooi suffered a knock away against Thanda back in January. The return of the two to training will be a huge boost for the Glamour Boys ahead of their meeting with Bloemfontein Celtic at Super Stadium in Pretoria on the Valentine’s Day.

Jose Torrealba expressed his wish to play over the weekend, “It all depends on the coach. I am realistic because I have been out for a while. I must say though it would be nice to play at Super Stadium which is one of my favourite grounds in the country. The pitch there is perfect,” he said with a smile.

Meanwhile Torrealba’s teammate, Ibe Zito Ogbonna will be out for another week after being discharged from Morningside Clinic last week. He will see a specialist on Wednesday afternoon. This was revealed to kaizerchiefs.com by Team Physio, Dave Milner.
