Tickets for the SS Utd vs Chiefs on sale at Computicket

If you plan to attend the all-important Castle Premiership match between SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs at Loftus on Wednesday, get your tickets early to avoid last-minute disappointments.

The match kicks off at 19:30 and will be televised live on SS3.

PSL corporate affairs manager Lunga Williams confirmed late on Tuesday that league had overruled an earlier decision by United not to sell tickets through Computicket. “Computicket has just opened to the public as we speak,” said Williams.

United had earlier said they would only sell through selected outlets as Computicket was “too expensive”.

“It has been too costly for us to use Computicket, their prices remain the same even if the event attracts only about 100 people as it happened in Mamelodi a few months ago,” said United PRO David Skosana.

“The system of using garages and certain shops has proved to be useful for us, the problem with Computicket is that it’s a bit of a problem for people in the townships and villages to have access to the outlets.

“The Premier Soccer League was initially against the use of our own venues for the ticket sales but we explained our position. We would have loved to use the post office outlets but it was too late. Post offices are much better because they are easily accessible to everybody.”

As such, tickets (selling at R20) will still be available at the following outlets:

  • Nandos - Sunyside and Tramshed

  • Shell Garage in Attridgeville

  • Excel on the N4 from Witbank towards Pretoria

  • Sgegeda in Mamelodi

  • Romans Pizza in Mamelodi

  • Caltex Garage in Bronkorspruit

  • BP Tembisa in Mehlareng

  • Loftus Stadium (on match day)

United have lined up some exciting entertainment for those who will arrive early. Due to heavy volumes of traffic on the N1 in the afternoon, supporters are encouraging to arrive early at the stadium.
